When the Nevada and Wyoming Legislatures are in session, you can count on me to be at the state capitals, knocking on doors and educating our political leaders about what it means to be an entrepreneur.

Together, we can make sure that the laws we pass actually help small businesses. It’s just my way of making things better for the next generation of entrepreneurs and small business owners.

My hobbies include travel, great food, hiking, and backpacking. Bottom line: I believe no day is complete without some time spent in the great outdoors.

Sure, living in the Sierra Nevadas has its perks. But the truth is, I’ll find adventure anywhere (a good thing, considering my business takes me all around the country).

And sometimes, adventure even finds me!

A small business owner himself, Matthew is the Founder and CEO of EasyBizStart, the Nevada Business Center, and the Wyoming Business Center. Growing up in an entrepreneurial home, he had a front-row seat to his parents’ manufacturing business and always knew he was destined to work for himself.

In 1997, Matthew got his official start when he entered the incorporation industry, rapidly becoming one of the top experts in field. He started the Nevada Business Center in 2008 and never looked back. Since then he has helped entrepreneurs launch more than 15,000 companies worldwide.

Matthew has spent most of his adult life working with entrepreneurs of all sizes, from sole proprietors, freelancers, and independent contractors to internet businesses and traditional brick-and-mortar companies. He believes and understands that you’re never “too small” to be considered a real entrepreneur. Because of this sincere belief, he is passionate about getting the word out about entrepreneurship.

As an accomplished speaker, Matthew inspires audiences of all sizes with stories from his own entrepreneurial journey and the practical lessons he has learned along the way. As an advocate, he regularly lobbies the Nevada and Wyoming Legislatures about small business rights.

When Matthew isn’t in the office, on stage, or on the legislature floor, you’ll find him hiking and backpacking or enjoying a summer weekend by the lake. He lives in Carson City, Nevada.
